Public Access Defibrillation

Providing the Residents & Visitors of Kananaskis with Public Access Defibrillation

  • Each year over 40,000 Canadians will suffer cardiac arrest
  • That’s one person every 12 minutes
  • Without immediate intervention, most of these individuals won’t survive
  • Each minute that passes without defibrillation, represents a decrease in chances of survival
The KPAD program has been made possible by the generous support of the Kananaskis Improvement District
We maintain 10 units throughout the region.

You can find a KPAD in the following locations within the Kananaskis Improvement District.
